Welcome




After being employed in the clothing industry for 15 years, I opened my own pleating factory which I successfully ran  for two years. Being ambitious and hardworking, I afforded myself my first overseas holiday in Mauritius.

On holiday, I wavered off into the various cities of Mauritius and realised an exciting career in travel and tourism. I befriended significant people, and developed business contacts in Mauritius, who later became role players in my new Travel and Tourism business that was born.

My first group tour of Mauritius consisted of two passengers, I personally supervised their site seeing and shopping. Being a first time tour operator, I was overwhelmed with enthusiasm and ensured that my passengers were afforded the opportunity of visiting every place of interest in Mauritius and to their satisfaction.

I gained self-confidence and entered out to India in the same year (1989). As time passed, with my hard work and dedication, my tour groups increased in numbers that now average 150 people. To date, being 20 years in the business, I traveled 99 times to Mauritius, 89 times to India and 13 times to the far East. I visited various other countries as well.

The Shivaratree tour is the highlight of my travel calendar every year. As every business experiences ups and downs, so have mine. These were learning curves, which make me stronger as i persevered to improve my business, and make a success of it.  Twenty years is a long time in a travel and tourism which peers vestments my good business practices and principles that keep encouraging my loyal passengers to come back.

At the end of it all, business only survives by keeping clients satisfied, and that is what we do! I don’t sell cheap packages! I sell packages cheap!
